Darren and Lisa visited Chicago for a long weekend all the way from California! Early in the afternoon I discreetly awaited them in Milton Lee Olive Park, as they headed over from visiting Navy Pier. It was a truly beautiful (and hot!) day in Chicago, and runners, couples, even a bride and groom(!), walked by enjoying the day.

As Lisa looked out across the lake, Darren knelt down on one knee. She turned around and to her surprise and delight, Darren was proposing! She said YES and the rest is history 😉 Delighted onlookers congratulated them and we took a few more photos to celebrate their special moment.
